I am a stickler for visual customisation in games. ![]() The inclusion of Belgian, Soviet and British uniforms pleased me. You can see from this image the varying appearances you can achieve for your soldier. Before I go into the reasons why, I will start with the positives. My expectations were perhaps, a little high, but nonetheless I was not overawed as I expected to be (but can anyone be overawed by a simple beta?). In a nutshell, I did not like my experience. I am of course playing on the PC version of the game. I am not going to suggest that just because I dislike something, it is a bad game that other people will objectively not enjoy. I should also say everything I say here is my own opinion. We have seen nothing of Campaign nor Zombies, and even then we have seen only a slither of the Multiplayer – so I suggest taking what I say with a grain of salt. Changes can and more than likely will happen based on how it plays out, not to mention the vast majority of the game having not even been seen yet. I am aware that this is supposed to be a beta – a test run of the game’s Multiplayer mode only. Writing about a beta requires a disclaimer.
